I'm constantly amazed at the little messages that come my way. Perhaps
not at the message itself, yet the vehicle in which they are delivered.
The
closing scene of a comedy show I was watching involved a younger man
asking advice from an elderly gentleman. The younger man felt like he
needed to be on the go, get things done, rush, rush, rush. The elderly
man told him that life isn't short. Life is long. Stop pushing and let
whatever it is you are seeking come to you. Just be ready.
That got me thinking. If you know anything about me, then you know
my mind is always on the go. Sometimes I think I have TFD (thought focus
disorder), yes it's a new term that I coined. Anyway, we are always
reminded to live each day as if it were our last. It may be. However, I
think the inherent problem with that may be that we focus on what can get accomplished today and we lose sight of the true focus of life. To me,
that is making a difference somehow, someway, everyday.
Don't lose sight of your goal.
Stop trying to force things to come to you.
Be the magnet.
Be the honey to the bee.
Be AWESOME.
