When I first got into business for myself a very wise friend told me to
find the why that makes you cry and use that as the driving force to
become successful. It is a noble character trait to use your emotions
to reach your goal. However, I've been given a turbo adapter of my why
that consists of faith and generosity.
3 quick things about me:
1. I know my purpose.
2. I know my talents.
3. It is through faith that I will reach my goal of being generous.
If
you think about the first statement and you truly have a why that makes
you cry, I would be willing to bet that your why is not about you. I
have had the great opportunity to speak with a large number of people
about why they do what they do and inevitably, their why is about
giving.
Sometimes we just need a spark to start our turbo.
